Over 90% of the Bulgarians live in own dwelling

91.6% of the Bulgarian households lived in their own dwelling in 2019. Only 5.4% lived in dwelling free of rent and 3% of the households rented homes. 9.7% of the households possess a second home, the national statistics shows. 73% of the rural households and 96.9% of the urban households have toilets inside the dwellings. One-fifth of the homes have central heating. 51.3% of the households have cars and 5.8% of the households have more than one car. 53.8% of the households have computers and 59.5% of the households have Internet connection at home.
