Ministry of the Interior monitors quarantine violators through mobile operators

In cases of breaching the Covid-19 quarantine, the Ministry of Interior already requires mobile operators to provide information on the movement of violators, taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the Emergency Law. This is what Interior Minister Mladen Marinov announced in an interview with private TV station bTV.

According to the Ministry of Interior, a total of 78,018 people in Bulgaria have been quarantined since the beginning of the state of emergency, and at the moment 20 490 people are under quarantine and their location is checked physically by police officers.
