Three-quarters of Bulgarians say the authorities are coping well with the crisis

Anxiety levels over Covid-19 remain high though they are not growing any higher, indicates an express survey conducted by Gallup International.

68% of the respondents say they are afraid or very afraid that they or their families could contract the infection. 29% say they are not afraid, 56% still say the risk is exaggerated.

Bulgarians are among the societies which continue to harbor certain suspicions regarding the threat, compared to the rest of the world. The share of people prepared to be deprived of some of their rights because of the fight against the pandemic has dropped slightly – from 83% at the beginning of the crisis down to 73%.
