The worldwide Covid-19 pandemic will end in about 20 days, macro-economist Velichka Rangelova, a former deputy director of the national statistics, told the BNR. The analysis is based on mathematical calculations modeled by the World Health Organization.

Data for Bulgaria is being received from 17 laboratories in the country. The survey indicates that there will be no epidemic peak in Bulgaria and it is likely that it has already passed. About 4.6% of people have had contact with the coronavirus and may have had it without symptoms. These are very good indicators and data being announced of new infection shows residual cases, Rangelova commented.
