Christians celebrate Easter Friday today

On the fifth day of the week following Easter, Christians in Bulgaria honor the memory of St. Peter. Traditionally, on April 24 people named Zhivko or Zhivka celebrate. During all events related to the Easter holidays this year believers are complying with the restrictions and recommendations of the Holy Synod and authorities over the Covid-19 pandemic.
