At 8:00 a.m. on Friday, head of the National Crisis Staff General Ventsislav Mutafchiyski announced that 90 new cases of infection had been registered in Bulgaria in the past 24 hours. Most of them are in Sofia – 29 new cases.

There are 34 new cases of infection among medics, with a total of 129 infected or 11% of all cases. In the past 24 hours, three more patients have recovered and the total number of recovered patients has reached 193. Two people passed away in the past day and the total number of deaths has reached 52, which is 4.4% of the total number of cases.
