The favourite singer of generations of Bulgarians sent the medical workers from Sofia-based Aleksandrovska hospital flowers, CDs of her songs and the following message: “It is a hard-fought battle but you are stronger and you are not alone!”
Lili Ivanova, who was born in 1939, made this gesture after marking her birthday. She has herself graduated from the Medical College and has worked, for a time, as a nurse.
