From January to March 2020, Bulgarian exports fell by 1.1% compared to the same period in 2019. Exported goods totaled over 7 billion euros, according to national statistics.
The biggest contraction was in March at 8.8%, when exports reached 2.244 billion euros. Imports of goods in the first quarter also declined by 1.1% compared to 2019.
