Bulgaria’s Premier Boyko Borissov and this country’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova are inspecting the construction of the Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector near the village of Orlovo, South Bulgaria. 'The construction of the gas interconnection is extremely important for our country, as well as for the region of Southeast Europe", Premier Borissov wrote on Facebook. The Bulgaria-Greece gas interconnector is part of the Southern Gas Corridor and will allow Bulgaria and its neighbors to have access to alternative supplies from the Caspian region, as well as from existing and future liquefied natural gas terminals.
