“As of 25 May the quarantine for Bulgarian drivers of heavy goods vehicles entering Bulgaria will be lifted,” Minister of Transport Rosen Zhelyazkov announced.

International drivers are now put under 14-day quarantine because of Covid-19 before making their next run. The restrictions in place in the Roma neighbourhood of Yambol will be lifted at 10 PM on 19 May. The region was quarantined because of a coronavirus outbreak. The people living in the neighbourhood will be free to move around and go to work in compliance with the anti-epidemic measures. The enhanced police presence in the area remains in place.
