Bulgarian fighter jets regularly intercept Russian bombers

There is nothing extraordinary in the situation in which Bulgarian fighter jets were launched in the air because of Russian bombers in the Black Sea, commented Bulgaria's Chief of Defence Admiral Emil Eftimov. This is not the first time such a situation has arisen. In carrying out the air policing mission, I think we are used to this new normality, Eftimov told the Parliamentary Defence Committee. 

Deputy Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov assured the deputies that for now there had been no delay in the contract for the supply of F-16 fighters due to the Covid-19 crisis The first machines should arrive from the United States in 2023, and the last two in 2024
