Pandemic postpones program for return of Bulgarian experts

Photo: library

Application for the incentive measure under the Human Resources Development Operational Program, aimed at Bulgarian experts who want to return to this country to work, has been postponed until 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

5 million euros earmarked for this year will be redirected for emergency measures against rising unemployment. At the same time it is reported that many Bulgarians living and working abroad are returning to this country. The program envisaged that graduates who return to work in Bulgaria would receive 600 euros a month for a year if they worked in a town with salaries that were below the average level.
