In the unusual social environment, which due to the coronavirus epidemic we now call the "new normality", Bulgarian artist Ventsislav Zankov has launched a solo exhibition of paintings, sculptures and neon. The exposition entitled "In front of Me" presents in symbiosis two crises intertwined in human behaviour – the environmental and social one caused by the pandemic reality. In 12 large-format canvases combined with cast-iron sculptures, Ventsislav Zankov brings existential loneliness to the fore. He recreates this metaphor of psychic spaces and visions of isolation with the help of elements of nature.

The works will be on display until the end of June in Sofia’s Rayko Alexiev Art Gallery.
