The forecasts are for a decline in GDP this year of about 7%, but next year it will increase by 6%, which shows good condition, Bulgaria's Economy Minister Emil Karanikolov told the Bulgarian National Television. It was more important to protect people's lives and health. We have not closed the economy, we have not closed whole sectors, but our economy depends entirely on the European one. Supply links need to be shortened, he commented.

Together with Croatia, we will have the greatest opportunities to take advantage of this, because in the opinion of the European Commission, we entered this crisis extremely prepared, the Minister stressed. We are currently negotiating with large companies and I do not think that there is any problem for them to invest in our country, Karanikolov added.
