On June 16 Austria lifts all travel restrictions for most EU member states, including Bulgaria. Bulgarian citizens will be able to enter Austria without being placed under fourteen-day quarantine. They don’t have to present documents for negative Covid-19 tests either. Moreover, the Bulgarian nationals travelling to Austria are not required anymore to prove the reason for their visit such as permanent address, job contract, etc. Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs already published topical information about the situation, the conditions for crossing the borders and entering the countries on the following section of its official web sitehttps://www.mfa.bg/bg/embassyinfo. The section is accessible via the red banner on the home page of the Foreign Ministry-“Coronavirus-How to Travel”.
