The legal provisions must be followed by an ordinance, whose adoption was postponed for August. The fines for wild camping will take effect one year after the ordinance is approved.

Camping is becoming increasingly popular and the few campsites on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast are overcrowded, Lyuba Batemberg pointed out.
