International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria to start on July 27

The start of the 67th edition of the International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria will be given on July 27 in Bulgaria’s capital Sofia, Dimitar Kuzov, Chairman of the Bulgarian Cycling Federation announced. Over 40 teams will join the competition, which will end on August 1 in the coastal city of Burgas. The cyclists will cross the mountain resort Borovets, as well as several Bulgarian towns- Pazardzhik, Kardzhali, Momchilgrad, Plovdiv and Sliven. Bulgaria will participate with five teams at the competition. Elite athletes from Belgium, Norway, France, Italy, Spain, Czechia, Poland Ukraine and other countries will join the International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria. The event is part of the calendar of the International Cycling Federation (UCI). The first International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria was held in 1924.
