Young Bulgarian aged 14 to 17 are most active in sports

81% of young Bulgarians between the ages of 14 and 17 practice sports most actively, according to a study by Trend Agency commissioned by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. 57% of children aged 5 to 13 are also active in sports, as one fourth of them play football. 
Bulgarians who do not play sports indicate three main reasons - lack of time - 46%, lack of motivation - 36% and their health - 23%. The majority of respondents indicate that their settlement has a good sports infrastructure. 
With increasing age, the percentage of Bulgarians practicing any form of sports activity decreases. 
29% of Bulgarians over 14 years of age indicate that they are physically active as fitness training is the most practiced sports activity.
