Bulgarian SMEs export their products most of all to Germany, Romania, Italy, France, Greece and Poland, with the expoirt of electric bicycles and mopeds accounting for the highest growth rate in the 2014-2019 period.

In the sphere of measuring instruments Bulgaria’s production has strong positions in countries like Switzerland, USA and Japan. There has also been an increase in the supply of electric appliances and components such as batteries, electric heaters etc. from Bulgaria, and other countries of Central and Eastern Europe, with this country’s main competitors in this sector being non-EU countries such as China.
