The first beam of the national march “In the Footsteps of the Apostle” is to begin from the city of Pleven (Central North Bulgaria). For the 26th consecutive year tourists from all over the country will follow in the footsteps of revolutionary Vasil Levski who fell for Bulgaria’s freedom and independence.
Participants will meet in Levski’s home town Karlovo to celebrate on July 18 the birth anniversary of the great Bulgarian hero.
