Bulgaria's Deputy Prime Minister Krassimir Karakachanov has described the message of the US Embassy in Sofia as "sufficiently balanced".
"The fact that different parts of society read it differently shows that the message is clear. People have the right to protest and this right must be respected, but the law must also be respected as the rule of law is above all," Karakachanov said.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the government currently has no intention of resigning. Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov also said the topic of the government's resignation was not on the agenda.
