Parliament starts work with shouts of resignation in plenary hall

At the beginning of today's parliamentary session, GERB and BSP read declarations condemning the clashes during last night's anti-government protest.

GERB MP Toma Bikov provoked the dissatisfaction of the left, accusing BSP of willingly or unwillingly entering the criminal scenario of businessman Vasil Bozhkov. "In a democracy power is not taken by blood, it is given and taken through elections," he added. This provoked a sharp reaction among the BSP MPs, who started shouting "resignation". The left has also called for Interior Minister Mladen Marinov to be heard in parliament over police actions during the protests.

Today, the BSP is expected to submit a fifth vote of no confidence against the third cabinet of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, and for the second time the topic will be "corruption".
