In the so called "Triangle of Power", situated between the Presidency, the Council of Ministers and the National Assembly downtown Sofia, the ninth day of protests entitled "Let's Defend Democracy" has started.
The demands for resignation of the "Borisov-3" cabinet, as well as the resignation of Chief Prosecutor Ivan Geshev, remain unchanged. Among the slogans today one can see "Dear Prime Minister, please go to the polls", and "Democracy not found". The protest has so far proceeded calmly, without tension, with the usual increased police presence. There are also protesters in front of the courthouse, demanding the resignation of the chief prosecutor.
Along with these protests, journalists and public figures in front of the Bulgarian National Television have called for the resignation of its director Emil Koshlukov, as according to them he manages the public media unprofessionally.
