There is no obstacle for any prosecutor to investigate the Prosecutor General, the Constitutional Court of Bulgaria ruled by unanimous decision. The court decision comes after a cabinet asking which followed the report of the Venice Commission which recommends that Bulgaria makes radical reform in the constitution and the Supreme Judicial Council, in order to remove the inviolability of the Prosecutor General. The Constitutional Court of Bulgaria also ruled on President Radev’s objections to texts from the Health Act connected with the emergency epidemic situation which in his view disproportionally restrict fundamental rights. According to unofficial information of BNR, the constitutional judges do not share President Radev’s objections.
