Bulgaria’s Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova held an extraordinary briefing on Saturday. “The news that Premier Borissov agreed to close Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant at the last meeting of the European Council is manipulation and fake news”, Minister Petkova said. Temenuzhka Petkova specified that the EU is allocating EUR 56 million to Bulgaria to decommission units 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Kozloduy NPP.
