During the presentation in Boyana Residence of the National Strategic Document developed by the Strategic Council with the head of state, Bulgaria's President Rumen Radev blamed the crisis in the country on the 10 years of authoritarian rule.

In Radev's words,Bulgaria is currently in a historic moment. Citizens have come out of the apathy and hypnosis of propaganda and fearlessly declare their desire for a normal, democratic, European state, he said.
Calls for resignations and fair elections by machine and remote voting, which are openly declared by Bulgarian citizens not only in Bulgaria but also abroad, are a fact.
We can overcome the current crisis only with a united will and active civil position, President Radev said, quoted by BTA.
