Three key intersections in Sofia remain blocked on the 43rd day of protests. Protesters are demanding the resignation of Bulgaria’s cabinet and this country’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev, as well as machine voting. The participants at the traditional evening protest are gathering at Independence square.
Meanwhile, more than 5,000 residents of Sofia signed a petition demanding the removal of illegal blockades. Some of them gathered to protest in front of the building of Sofia Directorate of the Ministry of Interior.
