Tsvetana Pironkova after losing to Serena Williams: Always believe in yourselves

Tsvetana Pironkova dropped out of the US Open quarter finals, after losing to 23-times Grand Slam champion Serene Williams by 2-1 sets.

At a press conference after the match Pironkova stated she was happy with her overall performance at the tennis tournament and had a message to Bulgarians anywhere in the world: “My message is that one must always believe in oneself because that is what matters most.”

After the match Serena Williams said Pironkova had played “unbelievably”, and that “it just shows me how tough moms are.”
