Protesters seek support from European Commission representation

BOEC civic association submitted to the European Commission representation in Sofia, an address with the reasons for the demand for the resignation of Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev and of the government, BNR reports. The document points out that Bulgaria is ruled by the mafia, and that the European funding must be cut off so it shall not serve the circles of oligarchs close to the government.

BOEC leader Georgi Georgiev demanded that Brussels clearly state its position in support of the Bulgarian citizens, in support of the process of democratization of Bulgaria.

During the meeting of the European Parliament legal committee we shall seek to raise awareness at the EC representation, said BOEC attorney Kamen Dobrev.
