“The Three Seas initiative must be established as an instrument of real social and economic cohesion,” said President Rumen Radev at a meeting with the ambassadors to Sofia of the 12 countries from the format. The spirit of the platform promotes cohesion and prosperity among the Adriatic, the Baltic and the Black Sea.

The Bulgarian head of state urged all Three Seas countries to make their contribution to the initiative’s investment fund and to finance joint regional projects. Rumen Radev called for the development of clear and concrete priority criteria and rules of the format.

The participants in the meeting discussed the possibility of Bulgaria’s hosting the Three Seas platform in 2021, BTA reports.
