Bulgaria reports 92 new Covid-19 cases out of 2,330 PCR tests

92 new Covid-19 cases have been registered in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, or 3.95% of the 2,330 PCR tests performed.

The number of newly-registered cases is highest in Sofia – 25, followed by Blagoevgrad - 18, and Yambol – 8, indicate data of the Single Information Portal.  

4 have died and 8 have recovered over the past 24 hours. 736 patients with coronavirus infection are in hospital, of them 53 are in intensive care.

A total of 17,891 coronavirus cases have been registered in Bulgaria since the start of the pandemic. The highest number is in Sofia – 4,812, Blagoevgrad – 1,644, Plovdiv – 1,501, and Varna – 1,349. The number of active cases is 4,416.
