consecutive antigovernment rally. This is what the organizers of the antigovernment rally promised last night at the traditional evening protest which took place downtown Sofia in the so-called Triangle of Power.

The 69th day of protests demanding the resignations of Bulgaria’s cabinet and this country’s Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev passed without accidents. Police presence was weak. Protesters again joined the traditional procession to Eagles’ Bridge and temporarily blocked the intersection.

Mothers of children with disabilities from the civil initiative “The System is Killing Us” launched white sky lanterns each one containing a letter of the word “Resignation”. The sky lanterns are the dreams of our children and we hope that they will not fly aimlessly, Iliana Marinova told BNR.

During the rally, Arman Babykian from the Toxic Trio commented that on Wednesday the MPs would try to extend the period for delivery of voting machines and re-allow the use of paper ballots during elections. Thus, they are preparing to win the next elections through election engineering.
