Prosecution requests life-without-parole sentence for Sarafovo Airport terrorists

Bulgaria’s Prosecution requested life-without-parole sentence for Lebanese-Australian national Meliad Farah and Franco-Lebanese national Hassan El Hajj Hassan who have been charged in connection with the terrorist attack on Sarafovo Airport on July 18, 2012. Five Israeli nationals and a Bulgarian bus driver died and 40 people were wounded in the terrorist attack. The terrorists are on Interpol’s list of wanted persons.

According to the Prosecution, Hezbollah is linked to the Burgas bus bombing. The court is to announce the verdict on September 21.
