“Because of the problems we have with rule of law the country could lose European funding,” said European People’s Party MEP Radan Kanev in an interview for bTV.

As to the allegations made by GERB party MPs that the publications about Bulgaria in West European media are financed by Bulgarian citizens, Radan Kanev said this goes to show there is a complete break with reality.
