With an impressive victory, Bulgarian tennis player Tsvetana Pironkova has qualified for the second round of the French Open, BTA has reported. The 33-year-old tennis player, who plays with a "wild card", won 6:3, 6:3 against German Andrea Petkovic for 73 minutes.
This is the second participation of the Bulgarian in a tennis tournament after more than three years of break due to motherhood. With the success today Pironkova secured 84 thousand euros and 70 points for the world rankings.
