Antigovernment protests continue for 82nd evening

Participants at the antigovernment rally are gathering in front of the Presidency building downtown Sofia for the 82nd consecutive evening. The protest is held under the motto “We are not afraid”.

Mothers from the civil initiative “The system is killing us” are preparing their tent camp for the autumn conditions. “We have no right to give up and step back”, representatives of the civil initiative said for BNR. They insist that pensions of persons with disabilities which amount to under EUR 150 a month are increased.

Bulgarians living in Hamburg (Germany), Brighton (UK), Montreal (Canada) and other cities abroad launched protests and demanded the resignation of the cabinet and electronic voting.
