Following a recommendation of the European Commission, Bulgaria’s National Assembly adopted amendments to the Law on Asylum of Refugees. Unaccompanied minors will be represented by a lawyer from the register of the National Legal Aid Bureau until they are accommodated with a parent, guardian or a trustee, BNR reports.
Foreign nationals who applied for international protection will resister at the State Agency for Refugees within 3 days.
