Bulgaria defines its priorities in EU-Great Britain relations after Brexit

Citizens’ rights are extremely important after the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union, BTA reports. This is the position that the country will defend at the forthcoming General Affairs Council on October 13 in Luxembourg. Bulgaria’s cabinet has approved this country’s priorities in the future EU-Great Britain relations after Brexit- mobility, visa-free travel for short visits on the basis of reciprocity, non discrimination and guarantees for broad social security arrangements, transport connectivity, cooperation in the field of internal security, recognition of professional qualifications, providing favorable conditions for e-commerce, etc.
