Turkish Stream project will be delayed by six months and according to Bulgaria’s promise, will be completed at the end of 2020, the Russian energy giant Gazprom writes in a memorandum for new euro-bond issue. According to the agency, Bulgaria which has not completed its section of the gas pipeline (Balkan Stream) due to the Covid-19 pandemic is the reason for the delay. This country has to build a 474 kilometer-long pipeline from the border with Turkey to the Bulgaria-Serbia border. The project is estimated at EUR 1.1 billion without VAT. Meanwhile, Bulgaria is alreay receiving gas for own consumption from Turkish Stream, Interfax claims.
