Demonstrators are expected to come out into the streets for a 95th night of protest demanding the resignation of the government and of the prosecutor general tonight.
Last night they once again gathered, though in fewer numbers, around the water fountain in front of the presidency, shouting “Rsign!” and “Thugs – out!”. The speakers and the participants expressed their expectation that the 5th Grand National Uprising, scheduled for 16 October will be much more massive.
Commenting on the fact that Moody’s upgraded this country’s rating, Nikolay Hadjigeonov from the “toxic trio” stated that the good fiscal results were not due to the government of Boyko Borissov, but to the many years of currency board in place in the country. He added that the people will be out in the street protesting until the government hands in its resignation.
Later, as usual, the protesters made their way to Eagles’ Bridge.
