Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev and Greece’s Premier Kyriakos Mitsotakis discussed in Athens prospects for development of strategic partnership between the two countries, joint investments and cooperation on defense, BNR reports.

The security challenges in the region require a common European approach, Bulgaria’s head of state Radev noted. President Radev and Premier Mitsotakis agreed that energy, transport and digital connectivity in Southeast Europe is important not only for the region, but for the EU as well.
