Bulgarian citizens in Great Britain who have not yet received the right to permanent residence, but live in the United Kingdom at present, are completely protected by the Agreement on Great Britain’s Withdrawal from the EU. They will be able to continue residing in the UK and will acquire rights for permanent residence after their fifth year in Great Britain, Bulgaria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ekaterina Zaharieva said in Parliament. Even the citizens who arrive there by the end of 2020 will have the same rights and obligations, Minister Zaharieva added.
