Google gives award to Second English Language High School in Sofia

Second English Language High School "Thomas Jefferson" is the first "reference school" in Sofia part of Google's program for use of digital technology in education. The news was reported online in the presence of Deputy Minister of Education Karina Angelieva, Sofia Mayor Yordanka Fandakova and Google's Director of Education Marc Sanz Lopez, BTA reported.

The high school is the second Google reference school in Central and Eastern Europe. To receive the award, the school has met a number of criteria, has 15 certified teachers under the Google Certified Educator programs and over 1138 personal profiles of teachers and students.
