EU-Western Balkans Summit in framework of Berlin Process

At a meeting today, the priorities of the Berlin Process countries will be discussed in the framework of EU support for the countries of the Western Balkans. The forum was preceded by yesterday's online meeting of foreign ministers, chaired by Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva and North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani as co-chairs of the Berlin Process.

The first meeting within the so-called Berlin Process was held on August 28, 2014 at the initiative of German Chancellor Angela Merkel to deepen cooperation between the European Union and six Balkan countries - Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania.
