There is a lot of symbolism in the fact that Bulgaria and North Macedonia host together the Berlin Process Summit. It confirms our firm commitment to the development of the region, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at the start of the Berlin Process Summit.

"It is important for us that special attention is paid to the development of infrastructural connectivity in the region in the framework of the Berlin Process, because this is the circulatory system of the Balkans, through which both business and citizens live. The Western Balkans represent a market of 20 million people. This will give perspectives to young people and an adequate response to the demographic crisis, regional cooperation and good neighborly relations," PM Borissov added.
