The main problem in the health system is the people. They are fewer and fewer. They are extremely tired. People are also disillusioned by the attitude of a large part of Bulgarian society, said Bulgarian Minister of Health Kostadin Angelov at a forum entitled "2020 - The Doctors We Trust." Bulgarian doctors, nurses and orderlies are the real fighters in this pandemic, they are the chivalrous knights of today, the minister was quoted as saying by BTA.

In the course of the pandemic, Bulgaria has been following a clear plan and gradual implementation of measures. The plan builds on good European practices, the minister added.
As of January 1, the salaries of doctors and nurses will be increased, Minister Angelov assured.
