Less than 5% of companies have benefited from business support measures during pandemic

The Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Radosvet Radev, has stated that no matter how good the business support measures implemented through the Bulgarian Development Bank might be, interest in them has been too low. He made the statement during a discussion entitled "The Future of Money".
Radev cited data from a BIA survey in which only 3-4% of respondents said they had taken advantage of the measures during the pandemic, which in Bulgaria pass through the Bulgarian Development Bank and for all others they are either inapplicable or unknown. 
Against this background, about 90% of BDB's loan guarantee resources remain unused, BTA reported.
