Tourism-related sectors are uniting in one organization in order to communicate more effectively with the government and withstand the Covid-19 crisis, the idea of the newly-established Confederation of Bulgarian Tourism Business reads.

According to Polina Karastoyanova, Executive Director of the National Board of Tourism, the representativeness of the new organization should not be called into question, as it represents more than 70% of the Bulgarian tourism sector, 100% of this country’s congress and event tourism, as well as representatives of catering establishments and hotels. The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association has refused to join the new structure, bgtourism.bg informs.
