America for Bulgaria Foundation to fund 62 new projects worth nearly € 1 million

The America for Bulgaria Foundation has expanded its funding framework for its Next 10 program in support of significant ideas over the next ten years in Bulgaria due to the large number of high-quality projects.

A total of 310 applications from non-profit organizations, business associations and companies, media outlets and schools from across the country were submitted on the topics of Good governance at the local level, Science with a future, Online learning and Tourism on the Danube announced at the end of September, the organization announced.

Of these, 62 new projects worth a total of € 1 million have been approved, in addition to € 5.5 million for projects approved in 2020. 

Another € 350,000 has been allocated to support the fight against Covid-19 in Bulgaria. 

The organization plans to announce more competitions on new and specific topics next year.
