BSP demands full audit of Avtomagistrali state company

The Bulgarian Socialist Party has submitted to the National Assembly a draft decision asking the National Audit Office to conduct a full audit of “Avtomagistrali” state-owned company for the period 2016-2020. 

The Socialists expect the audit to provide accurate and clear information on how the company was granted contracts worth between EUR 1.5 and 2 billion, BNR informs. According to BSP, there is a circumvention of the Public Procurement Act. "Without announcing any public procurement, the state-owned company is outsourcing these projects to dozens of companies," said BSP MP Georgi Svilenski.
